Ascot Mining is applying their mining know-how and industry contacts to bring formerly producing and advanced stage gold mining projects into production, through a combination of outright ownership, lease deals and joint ventures. Ascot is actively mining gold and has the necessary permits in place to operate three goldmines and two mills in Costa Rica. Gold production is being accelerated by acquiring and rehabilitating multiple mining concessions in the well defined gold belt. The first gold processing mill has been commissioned and is currently being expanded from 50 tpd to 150 tpd capacity.



Concurrently with the expansion at Chassoul, the Company is advancing its plans to increase mining activities at its wholly owned Tres Hermanos / El Recio and Boston projects with the initial intention of trucking ore to the Chassoul mill for processing, while a new gravity mill is built and commissioned at Tres Hermanos. This is planned to be in operation in early 2010 when it will further expand Ascot’s production capacity.
